Do I need an account?
No. The idea is to allow fast transfers with no login and no mandatory signup.
Is the file stored on a server?
No. The content is sent directly between devices over WebRTC — nothing is stored for later download.
What's the size limit?
Every web browser receives the file in memory. The preventive limit is 300 MiB on mobile and 1 GiB on desktop; it reduces memory pressure but is not a measure of free RAM or an absolute guarantee. For larger files, use the future desktop app.
